Yesterday we cooked ourselves and tonight we supported the catering industry and so picked up food at Da Carlo. It was neatly ready at the agreed time, it was delicious in taste and very generous portions, good price-performance ratio. In short: an absolute must (zuiderdiep, Groningen)

ordered pizza and pasta. normally we order elsewhere but that place was closed. pizza was incredibly greasy and soggy, I wouldn't put that much cheese on it. was also not crispy and seemed undercooked. not to be repeated.

Portions were too big: Italians really don't eat as much pasta as the Dutch think ... it's the Dutch who make it a lot ... take that from an Italian ? In addition, it did not really taste Italian. Very hospitable further!

Very tasty food. Lots of choice from real Italian dishes. Operation neat, correct and very friendly. I am not a top photographer and certainly not with a phone, but I hope you can see that the food is well taken care of. Here a Spaghetti Carbonara willingly posed for the photo. I am not from Groningen, but if I lived here I would know what my regular restaurant would be.

Super restaurant! Finally staff who immediately see if you have a question. We were placed upstairs (which is usually a bit forgotten), but that was not the case here. Delicious eaten from the ravioli. Definitely see you soon and until next time!

Had a delicious pizza rucolata last night! Something different than the "standard ingredients", highly recommended! They prefer to order through their own site.

Delicious food, but poor service sometimes. Always crowded and thats the main problem. The restaurant is very small, so when it’s full, it is more or less unreal to comfortably have a dinner.

Food is really good. I had a caprese salad, it was very fresh; Shiraz wine house, also really good, Spaghetti Carbonara that was delicious; chocolate ice cream and it was amazing. Costumer service is really nice and staff is very pleasant. I stayed in a table which is not good. It stays in front of toillet door in the second salle of ground floor and there is lot of people moving around. Not good at all. Restaurant could consider remove that table.

Very cosy and friendly place! The food (we ordered pizzas) was very tasty. The service quite fast despite the fact that they were full. Definitely the place to come from time to time. Since this cafe is very popular among local people it's better to reserve a table in advance.

We ordered pizza's..and within i guess 10 minutes fresh pizzas were on the table.. It was really good service and of course the pizzas were delicious .

A great place to have a meal in Groningen. I'm very nicely surpriced with the quality of the food. Our pasta and pizza were fonderful. Just don't sit right next to the street..

The pasta was very good but much too pricey. The calzone was really good and better priced. They were great about accommodating the wishes of my 3 year old, which is rare and wonderful.
